1.01 A New Beginning, and an old end.
While sisters Brooke and Haley decides for a day of shopping
and fun, their mom and dad, Dan and Karen decides to get a divorce .
Karen is torn about the divorce, she doesn't want to hurt the girls.
Later on Dan breaks the news to Haley about the divorce and
about them moving as Brooke tries to comfort
Karen after seeing her upset, without knowing the reason.

1.02 The pros and cons of living.
The girls settle in their new home, and the first day of new
school is drawing closer. They make friends with a boy named
Lucas, who works at Karens café. Later on, they also meet a
bitchy cheerleader, which both Brooke and Haley clash with.
Haley has a hard time fitting in, especially in School.
Karen tries to handle the girls anger, confusion and hurt.
Haley decides to move in with Dan. Karen tries to talk to
Brooke about how Haley is avoiding her, but Brooke avoides
the subject. Later, Brooke is left to question why
Haley blames Karen for the move and the divorce.

1.03 Searching for something more
Brooke feels like she has lost her sister,Haley which
causes a fight between the two of them.Lucas does his
best to try and make Brooke and Haley talk but it doesn't go so well.
Dan comes to the Café and tries to apologize to Karen.
Brooke finds an unlikley friend in Peyton. Later on, Karen
goes to Dan to tell him to move on with his life.
Haley sees something that makes her question her
decision to move in with Dan.

1.04 Keep on Breathing
Nathan,Haley's ex boyfriend comes to see Haley to clear some things up,
and they both realize that they have moved on from each other.
Haley tries to make everything alright with Brooke, but things only gets worse.
Brooke is really happy to see Nathan but Lucas is not.
There is a beachparty in tree hill, which both sisters attend.
